Privacy policy
Last updated: September 4, 2026. This policy explains what NourishPlanner, published by MLJ, SASU, collects through the website nourishplannerapp.com, why it is collected, how long it is kept and what you can do about it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who is responsible
MLJ, SASU, a French simplified joint stock company registered under SIREN 934 769 837, is the data controller for information collected through this website. The publication director is Jimenez Julien. You can reach the person accountable for this policy at jimenezjulien42@gmail.com.
What the contact form collects
The demo request form on the home page is the only place this website collects personal information. It collects exactly the following fields: name (your full name), email (your work email address), company (your practice name), role (your job title, chosen from a list), request (whether you want a demo, early access or a quote), size (how many dietitians work in the practice), message (your free text answer about where the week falls apart for your clients), and consent (your confirmation that we may contact you). A hidden bot-field is included to catch automated spam and is expected to stay empty. Two hidden fields, subject and recipient, route the message to the right inbox and contain no information about you.
Please do not include protected health information about a client in the message field. If you need to discuss a specific client situation, say so and we will arrange a suitable channel.
Legal basis
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, we rely on two bases. Your explicit consent, given by ticking the consent box, covers our storing of the submission and contacting you about it. Our legitimate interest in responding to a commercial enquiry addressed to us covers the handling of your message. Where United States state privacy law applies, the processing is limited to the purpose for which you submitted the form.
How submissions are processed and stored
Form submissions are processed and stored by Netlify Forms, a service of Netlify, Inc., 512 2nd Street, Suite 200, San Francisco, CA 94107, United States, which also hosts this website. A copy of each submission is forwarded by email to the publisher. Access is restricted to Jimenez Julien and, where a demo is scheduled, to the person who will run that demo. We do not sell, rent or trade your details, and we do not add you to a mailing list unless you ask for one in writing.
How long we keep it
Submissions are kept for twenty four months from the date you send them, so that we can follow up on a conversation you started, then deleted from Netlify Forms and from the email inbox. If you become a customer, the commercial relationship is governed by our contract and the associated records are kept for the period required by French accounting law, which is ten years for invoices. You may ask for earlier deletion at any time and we will act on it within thirty days.
Cookies and analytics
This website sets no advertising cookies, no third party analytics cookies and no cross site trackers. There is no Facebook pixel, no advertising network tag and no session recording. The site loads two typefaces from Google Fonts, which means your browser requests those font files from a Google server and that server sees your IP address as part of any ordinary web request. Nothing else on the page contacts a third party. Because no non essential cookie is used, no cookie banner is shown.
Your rights
If you are in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, you have the right to access your data, to have it corrected, to have it erased, to restrict or object to its processing, to withdraw consent at any time, to receive a portable copy, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. In France that authority is the Commission Nationale de l'Informatique et des Libertes.
If you are a resident of California, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah or Virginia, you have the right to know what personal information we have collected about you, to request its deletion, to request a copy of it, and to correct it where the state law provides that right. You have the right not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising, so there is nothing to opt out of on that front, but you may still submit a request and we will answer it. Where state law provides for an appeal of our decision, you may appeal by replying to our answer with the word appeal in the subject line.
To exercise any right, write to jimenezjulien42@gmail.com from the address you used on the form, or tell us enough for us to find the record. We answer within thirty days and we do not charge for the first request in any twelve month period.
Children's privacy
NourishPlanner is a business tool sold to licensed practitioners. This website is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of sixteen. If you believe a child has sent us information through this site, write to us and we will delete it promptly. Practitioners who counsel minors inside the application are responsible for obtaining the consent their own jurisdiction requires.
International transfers
MLJ, SASU is established in France and our hosting provider is established in the United States, so information you send through this form is transferred to and stored in the United States. Where the sender is in the European Economic Area, that transfer relies on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses concluded with the provider, together with the technical measures described above. You may ask us for a summary of those safeguards.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS only. Submissions are encrypted in transit and at rest by the hosting provider, access to the inbox is protected by multi factor authentication, and the number of people who can read a submission is deliberately small.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes we update the date at the top of the page and, where the change is material, we say so on the home page for a month. This is version one of the policy for nourishplannerapp.com.
